It must be completed with the date, watch reference and establishment seal.

Repair guarantee.

12 months since repair.

To consider:

  • The battery must be replaced every 2 to 6 years, depending on the watch.
  • A maintenance service must be carried out every 2 or 3 years.

WHAT IS HERMETISM?

Watertightness is done in watches that can get wet.

The watch will indicate either on its dial or on the back cover the water resistance for which it has been manufactured.

3 ATM or 30 meters: Resists accidental contact with water such as rain splashes (do not wash your hands, scrub, shower, etc.).

5 ATM or 50 meters: Resistant to light contact with water (washing hands, swimming in a pool, swimming in the sea (rinse with fresh water),…)

10 ATM or 100 meters: Resistant to water sports, even shallow diving. If when we change the battery we think about subjecting it to this type of use, it is advisable to do the seal test and if necessary change the rubber seals on the crown and lid. (If the cover and crown are screw-on, when opening them to change the battery, a simple check of the condition of the joints and a little sealant on them will be enough to prevent water from entering the watch. 99% of watches get wet because of the crown seal, which is the one that is subjected to the most stress, not because of the cover where they are opened to change the battery.

20 ATM or 200 meters: Resistant to deep diving. If we practice this type of sport, the watch must always be tested for water resistance.
